  1. Why are most of the transcriptions guitar only?

    Because I only play guitar.

  2. Can I send my own Hammerfall tabs?

    Sure, if they're not already on the site I will accept them. I do not want to have a several versions of the same song though, but 2 maybe 3 is ok specially if we're talking about a different arrangement.

  5. Why is this a power tab only website?

    Because unlike other guitar software Power Tab is free, but unlike when I started this I am willing to accept Guitar-Pro tabs. However, my own tabs will be uploaded in Power-Tab.

  6. Well, I only use Guitar Pro, can you convert them and send them to me?

    No. Guitar Pro v5 imports Power Tab files so you should be ok. I still encourage people to try Power Tab since is a great guitar software.

  7. I just downloaded the full album files but can't open them, why?

    You will need to download WinRar or a similar software to open the files (http://www.winrar.com/).

  8. Can I submit/share Non-Power tab files? (e.g. Guitar Pro) NEW - March 6, 2010

    Maybe, send me an email. I know I have said no in the past however, things change I rather have them all in Power Tab but if there's a significant different or from a great song that I might not have time to work on. Then I might upload, again...I rather have them "converted" in Power Tab though. Why the change? I understand how big Guitar Pro so I'm trying to get more fellow musicians involved in this effort.

  10. What tools do you use to transcribe?

    Well, other than Power Tab (and very recently Guitar-Pro 6) I also use Transcribe! to slow down songs, repeat sections and change/adjust tunings when necessary. I don't always change the tuning of my guitar I rather change the actual song (that might seem a little weird for some). For last I also use Gold Wave to reduce vocals and lead instruments overall.
